Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about SwiftShift.

For Workers

How do I get paid?+

Your agency pays you directly — SwiftShift isn't in the payment chain. Your shift status (Present, Late, Pending, Paid) is visible in the app for a clear record.

What if I don't show up for a shift?+

A no-show is the most serious mark against your reliability score and affects whether you get priority alerts for future shifts.

What if I need to cancel?+

Cancelling more than 4 hours before the shift is a minor deduction. Cancelling less than 4 hours before, or not cancelling at all, is treated much more seriously.

What is the OJT note?+

Every site has its own procedures. Before each shift, you'll read and acknowledge that site's OJT note — it protects you as much as the client.

What is my reliability score?+

It starts at 100 and reflects punctuality, attendance, and OJT completion. A strong score means employers are more likely to favourite you for priority postings.

Do I need a licence?+

Yes — a valid PLRD licence for security roles, verified manually before you can be matched. Set your rank (SO, SSO, SS, SSS, CSO) on your profile.

Is there a fee?+

No — free for workers.

For Employers

How does SwiftShift work?+

Post a shift from a saved site in under 30 seconds, get matched to available workers instantly, and track attendance and OJT completion in one place.

How much does it cost?+

A free trial covers 1 admin, 2 ops users, and 5 locations. Starter is SGD 499 per month, or SGD 399 × 3 paid quarterly with 1 complimentary month at the end of the billing cycle.

What if a worker doesn't show up?+

It's recorded against their reliability score immediately, and you can re-post the shift straight away.

Can I manage multiple sites?+

Yes — Starter includes unlimited locations, each with its own shift templates, rates, and OJT note.

Who verifies licences?+

Our platform team manually reviews and verifies every PLRD licence before a worker becomes eligible for matching.

Do I write OJT content myself?+

Yes — you write a short SOP briefing per site once; workers acknowledge it before every shift there.
